These are just fun, bright, cheery and full of color the huggie earring finding is not marked I bought the findings about 4 years ago, they have not tarnished a bit. They have held their finish and color all this time, truly dependable. No peeling, or loss of metal, they are 18k gold filled The opals are Ethiopian opals, briolette form The Ethiopian Government took over cutting opals about 5 or 6 years ago. They do not shape the opals in any bead form, nor do they make briolette's from the rough. As many colors you see in the pictures you will see twice as many in person. Opals do not photograph well, usually leaving colors out of the opal. These beads are awesome, you will not be disappointed. pics are part of description
