Description

This listing is for a strikingly beautiful, simple glass Christmas Tree. I purchased this at an estate sale and it is in very good condition. I do not know it's origins as there are no markings on the bottom and it no longer has a label. I believe it is from the early 2000's and that it is made of pressed glass. It does have ribbons of dark green glass in a swirled pattern running through the center of the clear glass tree. It has no chips, cracks, broken areas or rough edges. It is in pristine condition. There are some air bubbles visible through the glass which add to the charm of the piece. It has a somewhat contemporary, angular look about it, particularly on the bottom branches. When you look at from the top down, the design of the branches form a snowflake. It is quite heavy and would make a great paperweight or Christmas decor item to place on a bookshelf, end or coffee table, or kitchen or bathroom counter. Dimensions: Height - 6 inches Diameter - 4 inches Weight - 18.5 ounces This is a very attractive glass Christmas Tree. The tree branches are arranged in such a way that no matter which angle you face it outwards, it has an asymmetry about it, meaning you see branches behind branches. It is only when you look straight down from above that you see the symmetry of the design. It comes from a smoke-free environment. Thank you for looking!
